I wish I had taken you out more often
I wish I had given you grandchildren
I wish I had more time with you
I wish I could introduce my kids to you
I wish I could still smile with you
I wish I could still cry with you
I wish I could still talk with you
I wish I could still touch you
I wish I could still hear your voice
I wish I could still visit you
I wish I could still taste your food
I wish I could still get calls from you
I wish I could still have a meal with you
I wish I had more smiles with you
Oh papa
I wish you were here with me still
And tell me that it’d all be ok
And you’ll be with us still.
