Finally, first workout after my heart incident



I was warded on 12th November 2023 and discharged on Thursday 16th November 2023 (I wrote about that incident here) and since I had a heart strain / failure due to that dang strong rhinovirus, plus started to take medicines for my heart, cholesterol and blood pressure, my energy levels has been madlad cliffing off.

Today is 4th December, I think if I factor in when I first started coughing from the rhinovirus, it should be close to 30 days since I last exercised.

In the last week, I started walking more and further (in fact, my body is starting to demand for more exercise because if I dont walk and be just sedentary, there seems to be some fluid build up in my lungs that makes me cough painfully at night).

Today though, I celebrate a little.

My workout for today:

  • Push ups x 10 x 3 sets
  • Planking 30 seconds
  • Side plank 30 seconds x 2 sides
  • Alternate kneel hand-leg extension x 30 seconds
  • Superman x 15 reps
  • Sit ups x 20 x 3 sets
  • Bridging x 45 seconds x 3
  • Single leg bridging x 30 seconds x 2 legs x 3 sets
  • Leg lifts x 15 x 2 sets
  • Chair squats x 15 x 2 sets
  • Chair dips x 12 x 2 sets

Feel a little happy. Cant wait to increase my strength and stamina more.
