Good bye Colin Koh =(

I met Colin years back in City Harvest Church Start-up Business Fellowship (SuBF), and I’m sad to say that he passed away today, 3 January 2025.

Though Louise and myself had not been always attending SuBF due to our 3rd kid and COVID, Colin has always reached out to keep in touch. In fact, I think just last year he reached out to me and I visited him in his place in Orchard.

Very humble guy, loud hahaha like me, but very on fire for God and can tell that he really loves people and Christ. When I was at his place, he told me stories of how he got into his business (adventure and sports) and his friends with people all over the world.

Even then he was sharing with me on how he had some heart and health issues already, and he was making changes to his diet and lifestyle…but alas, God loved him more and called him home today. My condolences and sadness to his family and friends.

Colin, you’re one of those dudes that will be missed, and now, party in heaven first till I catch up with you.

Food for thought: perhaps this is one of the reasons why as I get older, I get less tolerant of bullshit and people, where my friends and family start passing away?

Sigh.

That being said, Colin was always passionate in his work and his being, I could feel it. Thoughtful and clear with his words and not the kind who bullshits around (or maybe I’m not that close to him) – but it really seemed like he was deep into his work and purpose, WHILST having fun.

Goodbye Colin Koh, you’d be missed.
