Happy 60th National Day Singapore

A night of pride, gratitude, and reflection for Singapore’s 60th birthday.

Tonight, I did something I’ve never done in my 42 years of life.

I sat down and watched the entire National Day Parade — all the way to the end. ALL THREE HOURS!

It’s Singapore’s 60th birthday, and the show was… simply excellent. The precision, the heart, the way our stories were told — it made me proud, and a little teary.

Maybe it’s age (yeah I’m older lol)

Maybe it’s fatherhood.

Or maybe it’s living long enough to see how much we’ve grown as a nation, through hardship and blessing alike.

Either way, I’m grateful.

Grateful for the peace we enjoy, the unity we still have, and the reminder that building something great takes years of faithfulness, sacrifice, and vision.
